I’ve been feeding Baby one flightless fruit fly per day. Looking at the charts for abdomen size, I don’t think it’s too much or too little. They’re just a hungry little guy.

I worry that maybe the flies are a bit too small but Baby has been eating them ok. Almost every time I’ve put a fly in the enclosure, it’s been about a minute before Baby catches them. Only once did the fly elude capture for some time by hiding on other side of the piece of wood.

I’ve also set up a little livestream on an old phone via vod.ninja.

Spider stream

It’s been nice as a way to watch Baby Godzilla from another room or while I’m doing something else. It was relatively easy to set up and the stream is relatively private (there’s a password on the room). I thought about streaming to youtube or twitch but the spider is in my office so I may end up streaming something accidentally so this is probably better.

The only downside is that it tends to shut off after some amount of time. Maybe if nobody is watching it during the night?
