Baby Godzilla made it through the first moult. Well technically it’s their 5th moult but it’s my first so I’m pretty happy about it.

Yesterday they finally came out their hammock and they were really skinny. I didn’t catch a photo of them but I fed them a fruit fly. They grabbed it super quickly then scooted back off to hide again for a little while.

Second feeding after moulting

I managed to snap this today after feeding them again this morning. They’re still a little skinny but nowhere near what they were like yesterday. I’ve also ordered some mealworms as a little treat (though I wish I had them earlier, it would have been a nice thing to have as the first meal).

It’s neat that you can see the old Baby Godzilla exoskeleton in the hammock still. I’ll have to keep it as a souvenir after I can retrieve it.
